Sonic sculpture / installation. In collaboration with designer Léo Lescop.
Surrounded by a continuous, slow and irregular dripping, this piece leads the listener from a realistic and concrete sonic situation to a musical situation. Percussive sounds on different materials slowly become instrumental sounds of wood and metal pitched percussion. As part of this musical situation, water’s undulating energy keeps the listening tension, attentive and contemplative at the same time. Water fluidity becomes audible as rhythmic continuity.
