(Written for Eric Oriot’s film Plus Tard)
The work Intersticios – 3,99 creates a parallel sonic reality from the reality of Eric Oriot’s film Plus Tard. Musical gestures evoking concrete sounds (the slight rubbing between an eye and an eyelid, steps on a stairway, ripping paper) make a counterpoint -occasionally synchronized- with the image. By including elements of sound design, the transformation of sonic space quality gives different dimensions and perspectives of musical elements, reinforcing or contradicting the visual space changes.
